Getting to Aspendale Mountain Retreat from Santa Fe (3 hr 51 minute drive time), Albuquerque (3 hr 30 minute drive time), or Socorro (2 hr 31 minute drive time)

Drive south on I-25 past Socorro 8.2 miles
Take exit 139 towards San Antonio, NM on US-380E
Drive about 65 miles to Carrizozo and turn right onto Central Avenue
Drive 54 miles to Alamogordo and turn left onto Highway 82 towards Cloudcroft
Drive 16 miles to Cloudcroft
From Cloudcroft, NM please follow Cox Canyon Hwy (Do Not use Sun Spot Hwy entrance; this is a private drive)
1 - Depart US-82 / James Canyon Hwy toward Cox Canyon Hwy (travel south - this is the first right as soon as you enter Cloudcroft)
2 - Turn south onto Cox Canyon Hwy (paved road)
3 - Travel 3.4 miles to Pierce Canyon Rd (unpaved road)
4 - Turn right onto Pierce Canyon Rd
5 - Travel 1.6 miles and arrive at 163 Pierce Canyon Rd, Cloudcroft, NM 88317
The last intersection is Cox Canyon Hwy. If you reach Carrie Camp Rd, you've gone too far
The entrance to the camp is well marked. There is a camp sign at the intersection of Cox Canyon Hwy, and Pierce Canyon Road as your turn right. There are additional signs as you enter the camp. Please proceed to the camp office when checking in. Look for the office sign to the right, and 3 Tree House "Odyssey" ropes courses on the left - You can't miss it!
Please drive slowly, and be aware of Elk and Deer crossing the roads.

Drive north on US-54 (Patriot Freeway) to Alamogordo for approximately 83 miles
Turn right onto the Alamogordo Relief Road. This turns into Highway 82. Take this about 22 miles to Cloudcroft.
